Hello - I'm Trusha Chandan,
currently based in Los Angeles

I am a big picture systems thinker really passionate about designing at the intersection of Design, Technology, Accessibility, Business, and Branding Strategies.

Growing up in a tiny Indian town, I frequently saw how people used the resources and techniques available to them to solve issues quickly and cheaply—a practice known as "jugad."

Additionally, my grandfather used to say, "Why buy stuff when you can make things function from items around you" quite a bit. I have carried that memory with me throughout my life. My passion for solving issues that affect people's daily lives stems from my in-depth knowledge of human behavior, which has guided me to pursue a career in product design.

As a designer, interdisciplinary collaboration and working foster my ability to think creatively and encourage me to combine applications and processes from diverse industries to provide disruptive, creative solutions.

In addition to focusing on problem-solving, I also give careful consideration to how users will interact and experience the product or service. By establishing connections between future trends, cultural and behavioural analysis, and user demands, I am able to combine insights and spot areas for innovation.

Now, amidst the burgeoning AI revolution, I'm utilizing my newfound knowledge in Generational AI, exploring how to amalgamate my early passion for wearable tech, neuroscience, and psychology with digital design. My current research delves into brain-computer interface technology, augmented reality, and AI, exploring potential advantages for populations with neurodivergent traits, thus continuing my exploration and fusion of technology, design, and innovation.
