Growing up in a small town in India, I often observed how people solved their problems in a cheap and efficient way with tools and materials around them, what we call “jugad”.

My grandfather also often told me “Why buy things when you can make things work from items around you”. That really stuck with me all throughout my life. My innate desire to solve problems that impacts everyday life is based on deep understanding of human behavior, which has led me down to the path of Product Design.

As a designer, collaborating and working across different disciplines helps me to think creatively and inspires me to fuse processes and applications from various industries to create disruptive innovative solutions.

How I design the product or service is not only about solving a problem but also prioritizing how people interact and feel while using it. Connecting the dots between user needs, future trends and analysis of culture and behavior, allow me to synthesize insights and identify opportunities for innovation.
